MANDO’S MISSION TRIP RECAP FEBRUARY 2024

We were blessed to have another large group of 31 volunteers join us on our trip in February. Those 31
included six American medical providers, four Honduran doctors, and three Honduran dental friends.
These large numbers enabled us to split our teams each day to visit multiple sites. This allowed us to see
just over 2000 individuals in our medical clinics, a record for us! Four of the 10 sites we worked in were
also new to Mando’s Mission.
We were very excited to be invited into these new locations and serve the people there. One of the new
sites served was the Honduran Air Force Academy. One of our former translators is now a cadet there
and we worked alongside an Academy team last summer for a portion of a day. On this trip we were
invited to serve the cadets, personnel, and families at the Academy for a full day. This was exciting for
our team, and the Academy leadership and cadets were fantastic hosts!
Our daily work consisted of the usual services that we provide: Bible school for the children, doctor
visits, prescriptions, dental extractions, fluoride treatments, reading glasses distribution, and Pastoral
counseling and prayer. We are grateful to God for our team members and great Honduran friends and
partners that made this another memorable, and successful trip.
Mando’s Mission’s motto is “Sharing Christ by Serving Others”, that is our ultimate goal. We are excited
to report that there were 34 adult salvations, and an uncertain number of children that accepted Christ
in our Bible schools. We are most grateful for this number and the eternal significance it represents!
